I finally did a proper winter hike with my new Hilleberg Unna tent. The weather has been all over the place in the weekends lately and I never seemed to find suitable conditions. But this time I woke up and decided to go even though it was blue skies for sunset and fog for sunrise….;) Not ideal conditions for landscape photography to put it that way. Bronze price in Kase photography contest 2022

So I sent in three photos for a Kase filters contest and actually won the bronze price. The price was actually one free Kase Magnetic Wolverine filter, which came in handy as I lost my Kase polarizer earliar this winter. Quite nice and maybe I should try some more contests.

The next day was nice and sunny. Didn`t do much photography, but here are a few from that day. The locations on the photos are Kvalvika, Hamnøya and Vikten beach. Have to return to Kvalvika sometime when there is better light.

Lofoten part 1

I went to northern Northern Norway this summer. It was the first proper trip to this amazing part of the country since the being 8 months on Andøya back in 1993 and a later short visit to Tromsø. It was a family holiday but there were also some short glimpses of time to do some photography…. The main goal and area of the trip was Lofoten, but travel up north and the return along Helgelandskysten was also a part of it.
